Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using BidScout (bidscout.eu), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Service description
BidScout is an AI-powered platform that monitors public procurement opportunities across the EU and matches them to your company profile. The service is informational only — it does not constitute legal, financial, or procurement advice. You are responsible for independently verifying all tender information and meeting submission requirements.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and onboarding.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
- You must notify us immediately at hello@bidscout.eu if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Early access
BidScout is currently in early access. This means:
- Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice.
- We do not guarantee specific uptime or availability.
- Data formats and APIs may change as the product evolves.
- Early access is provided free of charge. Paid tiers may be introduced with at least 30 days' notice to existing users.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from BidScout beyond normal use of the platform.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit data obtained through BidScout.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
Intellectual property
The BidScout platform, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is owned by Nettlepie Kft. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Tender data displayed on BidScout is sourced from public procurement databases (such as TED) and remains public record. Our AI-generated summaries, match scores, and analyses are proprietary to BidScout.
Limitation of liability
BidScout is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nettlepie Kft. shall not be liable for:
- Missed tender opportunities or deadlines.
- Inaccurate or incomplete tender matches or AI-generated summaries.
- Decisions made based on information provided by the service.
- Loss of data, revenue, or business arising from use of the service.
Paid subscriptions and billing
BidScout offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Paddle handles invoicing, sales tax, and VAT on our behalf.
- Prices are displayed in EUR and include applicable taxes where required by law.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.
- We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.
Refund policy
We want you to be satisfied with BidScout. If you are not, the following refund terms apply:
- Within 14 days of your first payment: You may request a full refund for any reason, no questions asked. This applies to your first subscription payment only.
- After 14 days: Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- Billing errors: If you were charged in error (e.g., duplicate payment, charge after cancellation), contact us and we will issue a full refund promptly.
- Service outage: If BidScout is materially unavailable for an extended period (more than 72 consecutive hours), you may request a pro-rata credit for the affected period.
To request a refund, email hello@bidscout.eu with your account email and the reason for your request. Refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Termination
You may stop using BidScout and request account deletion at any time by contacting hello@bidscout.eu.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
Privacy
Your use of BidScout is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict of law principles. Applicable EU regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), take precedence where they apply.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Hungary, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
